    There is no parking within The Rock.

    There is an indoor bicycle shed at The Rock.

    Yes, as long as they don't cause any nuisance.
  • What if the delivery date changes and I have already paid one month's rent?
    This amount will then be settled.
  • Which utilities do I have to arrange myself?
    You must facilitate Electricity, Water, Heat and TV & Internet yourself.
  • What kind of homes will there be?
    There will be One- and Two- Bedroom apartments ranging from42-95 m2. There will be a number of regulated mid-rent flats. You will need to apply for a housing certificate for these.
  • Can I come and view the house?
    No, it is only possible to view the housing types online.
  • Is internet and TV included?
    No, you must disconnect the internet and television yourself.
  • What is in the house?
    At The Rock, we have One- and Two- Bedroom apartments. All properties are delivered ready to move in. This includes the following: Modern PVC flooring in the colour OAK (see image), bathroom and kitchen with appliances. The flats meet A++ energy requirements and many have an outdoor space (balcony).
  • I am employed, what do I need to provide?
    For salaried people: We need a copy of ID. This can be a Dutch identity card (note: We need the front and back) or it can be a valid passport (Make a safe copy with this App); Apple App Store or Google Play Store . Do you want to know why it is important to handle your ID data safely? then read more here A copy of your last pay slip; Your bank statement showing your salary deposit, including your name and full IBAN; (We use this IBAN to collect the monthly rent if you become a tenant) An employer's statement with company stamp (not older than 3 months). Download an empty form here that your employer must complete. A copy of your bank card Are you starting a new job? Then ask for a pro-forma pay slip or upload your acceptance letter from your new employer!
  • I am an entrepreneur, what do I need to provide?
    A valid ID. This can be a Dutch identity card (note: upload the front and back!) ( via this app ) or a valid passport. If applicable, a valid residence permit, work permit or EU passport. Proof of registration via Chamber of Commerce. Evidence of actual demonstrable assignments. Annual statement or tax return. Copy of the latest Income/Corporate Tax assessment. Copy of bank statement business account (not older than 1 month) Freelancers and Independent Contractors must provide a positive 'credit check' via Graydon .
  • I want to appoint a guarantor, how does this work?
    If you want to register with a guarantor, you will need a guarantor form (including a copy of the guarantor's ID) and the guarantor's most recent pay slip, which you can find here . I have not yet completed all my documents, what now? If you do not have all your documents ready yet, it is best to complete your registration only when you do have all your documents. If you complete your registration without all the correct documents, we cannot approve it.
  • How do I pay rent?
    You must transfer the first month's rent manually, this amount must be completed 14 days before the start date. We will then debit your rent from your account around the 27th of each month. You always pay one month in advance. A direct debit is mandatory and is also stated in the rental contract.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit?
    Yes, a deposit gives the landlord certainty that at the end of the lease he will not be left with unpaid rent or costs for repairing damage to the home caused by the tenant. Because the landlord may use (part of) the deposit to compensate unpaid rent or damage caused by you. At The Rock the deposit is 2x the basic rent, the deposit must be paid within 14 days after signing the rental agreement.   • Am I eligible for housing benefit?
    At The Rock you are not eligible for housing benefit.
  • What are the service costs, and which services do I pay for as a tenant?
    The service costs contribute to your enjoyment of living at The Rock. For example, all common areas are well maintained, the common windows are kept clean and fresh, maintenance of power and water installations, maintenance of the intercom systems, maintenance of good and clean air in the building, central heating, complete 24-hour service + maintenance of the elevator, glass insurance for the common areas, removing blockages and damage in the common areas, heat supply to common areas, checking the fire extinguishers, Bringme Box costs, any caretaker costs and maintenance of the roof garden.
  • When does my rental agreement start?
    The Rock is expected to be completed at the end of Q1 2025. As soon as this is definitively known, we will also include your start date in the rental agreement. The start date will be as close to delivery as possible.
  • How much is my rental price?
    The rental prices are currently not yet known, the starting price for one bedroom apartment is €941 per month. Sign up to stay informed.
  • What kind of contracts do we offer?
    The contracts with The Rock are entered into for a minimum of 12 months and for undetermined time.
  • Can I still qualify for a home?
    We advise you to subscribe to our newsletter. This way you will first be informed about matters relating to the start of pre-registration.
  • How can I apply for a property?
    Follow the progress and information via this page and the associated blogs newsletters. You can register for this. The rental is done by ROOFZ.eu , so you can also leave a search profile there in the The Hague region. You will then be kept informed via the newsletter and as soon as the homes are available the rental. Also by ROOFZ!   • Where can I apply for a housing statement?
    This must be done via the municipality of The Hague
